Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:57 AM) He has, except he is stupid for putting the shit on his neck. He has to hide that better.
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:14 AM) @Bischoff_Scott: Per a source, the #Lions are having discussions about moving #Suh before the draft to move up as high as possible in the first round.
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:14 AM) now that would be a fairly big move
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:46 AM) If they trade Suh to get Watkins, I would laugh. That doesn't really make their team better, they already have a high yardage passing attack
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:47 AM) They have the best WR in football and they signed Tate who will be a excellent #2 to Johnson
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:53 AM) too many smokes screens. f*** the extra 2 weeks of this shit, the draft should be tonight!
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 01:04 PM) The media is so dumb, Jon Gieger Revis' best friend tweets a pic from the Jets website and says it's revis, and all of the media goes along with it making fun of the Jets when it was really Jeremy Kerleyr.

This is not an over reaction to yesterday. Something that has been in the back of my mind for a while. With the season 1/4 over most teams know who they are and where they want to go. I think we all have a good idea what we are. With that being said players are on the trade block. Some publicly and others not so much. I think we all can agree we have a severe lack of talent on the offensive side of the ball. We can either trade for people or trade away for more picks.

Kenny Britt and Josh Gordon are known to be on the block and would be a smart move for the Jets if they can get the right deal. Both of these guys will be looking for new teams next year. The question is what is their value and what will their contract requirements be? Can we land one for a 4th? Below is the short list of players that will be FAs next year. Some will be resigned but this list is as of now. Anyone of intrest?

WR
Hakeem Nicks
Anquan Boldin
Eric Decker
Kenny Britt
Jeremy Maclin
James Jones
Golden Tate
Devin Hester

TE
Jimmy Graham ( Will probably be resigned)
Jermichael Finley
Dennis Pitta
Brandon Pettigrew
Fred Davis
Brandon Myers
Dustin Keller

Other notables
Jay Cutler
Mike Vick
Charles Tillman
Brent Grimes
Aqib Talib
Jairus Byrd
TJ Ward

WR
Hakeem Nicks - i think nicks isn't a FA yet, also cruz is a FA playing on a 1 year tendor i believe. i'd rather have cruz but nicks is good too. both would cost big money but snahcez going bye bye will save us a ton
Anquan Boldin - a little long in the tooth but still a good WR for a few more years
Eric Decker - no thanks. peyton makes him look better then he is
Kenny Britt - too lazy and issues
Jeremy Maclin - philly won't let him go
James Jones - could be a good grab for cheap
Golden Tate - no thanks
Devin Hester - as a PR/KR i'd take him. our SP teams are bad

TE
Jimmy Graham ( Will probably be resigned) - no way NO lets him go
Jermichael Finley - Doubtful GB doens't keep him
Dennis Pitta - no thanks
Brandon Pettigrew - Det won't let him go
Fred Davis - COuld eb a good grab
Brandon Myers - no thanks
Dustin Keller - doubt he wants to come back

Other notables
Jay Cutler - Bears will keep him
Mike Vick - won''t accept backup role
Charles Tillman - i'd take ihm
Brent Grimes - i'd take him
Aqib Talib - i'd take him
Jairus Byrd - i'd take him
TJ Ward - dn't really know alot about him

A little of both I believe. 2 different subjects that kind of came together lol. A little confusing but we get the point. Maybe in bold he should but the players on the trade block and then the rest keep it how it is concerning the FA for off season. Help separate it a little bit

I didn't know Peyton was given a special NCAA sanction to come back and join the Golden Gophers and threw to Decker for his entire career? Must have been hard to play a college game on Saturday and make it back to the Colts games/ Your depth of knowledge is just so incredible! Just like your factorization of his qbs, pre-Peyton, were garbadge at putting up passing stats. Not to mention the fact that in his first career start, which was also pre-Peyton, he caught 5 passes for:
"113 yards and 2 touchdowns, the second on a 52-yard catch in the 4th quarter as Denver recorded their first win of the 2011 season" (Wikipedia), all without an elite qb.

Yea, dude blows. He has to shine Stephen Hill's cleats every morning just to get some recognition.

At least your ignorance is somewhat humorous.

His first two seasons were his rookie and sophomore seasons. 8 TD passes and 600 yards for a 2nd year WR who had to deal with tebow and a little bit of orton throwing him the ball....That's a little something. Most WRers don't start off like anquan boldin. Not even calvin johnson would have had a chance to break 1000 yards with tebow throwing him the ball.

since I spent so much time down on it."-Tom Brady

and hill was doing better pre injury with no o-line and sanchez as his QB. Yet everyone trashed hill. I also don't care what he did in college. it means nothing or tebow would be a starting NFL QB. I see decker play all the time. I'm not impressed. I think there are much better options then him. plus in reality were really looking for a number 4 WR, that has potential to step up if need be. we have a 1,2, and 3 already. sadly the 1 and 2 are hurt this week

They need to try to trade for a receiver. They can't let Geno go out there with Kerley as a #1

I feel like it's been forever and a day since the Jets have had a legitimate #1 Wide Out

i feel that holmes is a legit number 1. he was in pitt, won a SB MVP made the probowl etc etc. but he keeps getting banged up sadly. also i feel hill has the ability as well in a year or 2 to be a number 1 WR. but i agree we need to draft some WRs instead of defense every year. look at our recent 1st round picks

millner CB
richardson DL
coples DE/OLB
wilson CB
wilkerson DL

our last 5 picks are all defense. and while the 3 d-line picks helped greatly and was needed the 2 CB ones didn't make much sense. espcially wilson when at the time we had revis and cro and big needs at WR and o-line. we need playmakers on offense. next draft should have WR and RB for teh 1st 2 picks. lats time we took a WR in the 1st was moss 12 years ago
since then we had 6 on the DL, 1QB, 1TE, 2 oline, 3 CBs

agree. stud receivers go in the first round, sometimes 2nd and 3rd. we can't keep drafting wide outs in the 3rd and later and expect them to suddenly be a johnson or jones

if you list the top 15 Wrs in the NFl. i'm willing to bet 12-13 were 1st round picks. only 1 i can think of not a 1st rounder is cruz and he was an UDFA steal which is so rare its not funny

Na.

This year you've got the likes of Torrey Smith (2nd), Alshon Jeffery (2nd), T.Y. Hilton (3rd), DeSean Jackson (2nd), Decker (3rd), Jordy Nelson (2nd), Antonio Brown (6th).

We definitely need to spend a high pick on offensive talent but we can also get one outside of the first.

exactly, hopefully now that the QB situation is settled Idzik can get him some weapons

I'd love to draft a stud wide out

or trade for Megatron. I'm cool with that too
