ALL I WANT IS FIELD GOALS
You're forgetting the game winner vs Tampa Bay Santana!
Geno - great performance to bounce back with after last week. Poised, made some great throws and was sensible with the ball.
Kerley and Cumberland - It was never going to be easy in the passing game with Holmes out and Hill limited. But Cumberland did his damage in the first half, while Kerley stepped up to the plate throughout with some clutch catches.
Defense (Mo Wilk in particular) - our front seven is as strong as you'll find in this league at the moment. Even more impressive is that we've got three young linemen in Wilkerson, Richardson and Harrison and two young linebackers in Davis and Coples who are forming a great young core. In the passing game it was at times bend-but-don't-break from the secondary, but up against a receiving trio like Jones, White and Gonzalez you have to show respect. That allowed the Falcons to get two TDs on the ground as attention was focused on their receivers in the redzone, but the secondary did as well as they could too.
Folk - yet again he was perfect with his second 40+ yard winning kick of the season
Antonio Allen - blocked the punt in the first quarter and has had a solid start to the season. Looks to be a good find in the seventh round last year.
While not a 'stud' type performance, I think our trio of backs did well, making enough yardage to ensure the Falcons had to respect the run as well as the pass. It would have been nice to see some more of Goodson and Ivory though.
Nobody to name here - penalties were down, which was great to see. I still think Rex needs to learn when to use the challenge flag as he wasted it on that catch and fumble which Julio Jones ended up recovering. That's just me nitpicking though.
3-2, level with the Dolphins and a game behind New England who look vulnerable: great start to the year!

Rex - say what you want about him but the team will run through a wall for him.
Defense as a whole. The NFL is designed to make it impossible to completely shut down a passing attack. As we saw yesterday, the rules, even when loosely interpreted are 100% pro offense.
Brian Winters - good job rook. Even with that one sack, he did alright. Did hold anyone and didn't jump off sides.
Geno Marino - took off that Aaron Brooks mask he had on last week and gave us a great game.
Clyde Gates - holy shit bro you held on to the ball!
Kerley - we missed you.
Willie Colon - didn't hold anyone, didn't punch a ref (and it was warranted).
Vlad Ducasse - made sure everyone coming off the field was hydrated.
Goodson - if you had ran from the cops like you did on that 1st carry, you wouldn't have had to serve the suspension. Nice complement to Powell and Joe McKnight 2.0 (Ivory's new nickname).
Cumberland - he must've fucked a Kardashian last weekend cause he looked like a new man.
Winslow - Nice catch, nice try to out dickhead Santonio.
Mary Mo - Those personnel packages were crazy. We had 13 men in the huddle one time! If we don't know who's coming in, how can the defense?!
SHJ - spotted Richardson first, wayyyyyyyyyyy before Jetsman05.
Brick - Made Osi look like it was 2007
Willie Colon - didn't punch a ref.
Geno Smith - still lingering from last week.
