santana Icon : (Yesterday, 10:48 PM) well
XvNukemHighvX Icon : (Yesterday, 10:48 PM) Because we destoy any promise in our young QBs with our elite offensive support talent.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 10:48 PM) TIME TO CHANGE THE DIAPER
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 10:48 PM) another game next week
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 10:48 PM) 3-0 with Sanchez? Oh god...we've gone there already?
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 10:49 PM) jets need more talent on O
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 10:49 PM) and some god damn DBs
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 10:49 PM) Morninweg's system is get the offense going then throw a monkey wrench into things by putting the backup QB in there and f***ing up the offense's rhythm.
RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 10:50 PM) Yes I went there. Geno spots these teams 7-10 points weekly and has turned the ball in the redzone 3 games in a row. If not for 2 dropped ints geno would have 4 picks. Dude sucks at best
RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 10:51 PM) Then we got Chris ivory running like marshawn lynch out there and they sit him on the bench the whole fourth quarter
XvNukemHighvX Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 PM) I'd like to use the same excuse I used for Sanchez. QB can't really do shit when your best WR would be a #3 if he was lucky on any other team
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 PM) yeah but sanchez was shell shcoked
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 PM) jets werent fixing him
XvNukemHighvX Icon : (Yesterday, 10:53 PM) Geno will be to after another year or two of this shit.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 10:53 PM) What's kerleys contract like
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 10:53 PM) because if he's underpaid I don't see him sticking around
XvNukemHighvX Icon : (Yesterday, 10:54 PM) he only looks good because our O is so bad.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 10:54 PM) I bet a lot of teams have their eye on him
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:56 PM) Decker doesn't need to play until he is completely healthy
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:58 PM) FIRE IDZIK
RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 11:08 PM) How big was the Sheldon Richardson fumble recovery not being a TD. We quickly went three and out after that
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:43 PM) Idzik better not be stingy this offseason and address the biggest issues we have WR and Secondary
RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 11:47 PM) King mo says he's ok, injury is minor
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:21 AM) As a guy who has been on this site since its inception and is still not a moderator which I guess is cause I'm not part of the rat pack who runs this joint I think GENO should still be the starter.
mgjetman Icon : (Today, 10:19 AM) We still could have won this game with the bad calls. Geno just sucks. All the pick six's, missing wide open receivers, bad throws when they are fought. Stupid trick plays because they don't trust him.
santana Icon : (Today, 10:31 AM) I don't get his decision making
santana Icon : (Today, 10:32 AM) There were another 2-3 ints the bears were gifted but were dropped
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:22 AM) f***
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:22 AM) I had a blast at the game... just sucks we lost
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:22 AM) 1-3 when I go se them
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:32 AM) Refs fucked up the fumble for a TD. by calling it down the first time everyone in the stadium saw it as a fumble
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:33 AM) they need to just let them plays play out because they now look at every turnover
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:33 AM) If hes down they could just overturn it on the replay
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 11:33 AM) f*** Holmes to
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 12:22 PM) gg2003 you want to be a mod?

ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 12:47 PM) :zz:
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 12:53 PM) and no I will not say that Idzik needs to be canned cause he doesn't
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 12:54 PM) he just needs to find talent at the CB and WR positions while also improving in positions that are currently our strengths like DL and OL
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 01:30 PM) Fire idzik!
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 01:45 PM) Best part of last night was Wayne Chrebet going onto the Ring of Honor
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 02:04 PM) u think our oline is a strength? did u not see geno getting killed out there?
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 02:04 PM) LG is a shit position, colon is old and nto much left in the tank, brick and mangold are in decline, and brent is a below average RT at best

1. The "push" heard 'round the world: There's no doubt that Chris Jones pushed teammate Will Svitek into blocker Damon Harrison on Nick Folk's 56-yard field goal miss, violating a new rule on the NFL books. On Monday, Patriots coach Bill Belichick came clean, admitting his postgame interpretation of the rule -- that it's illegal only if the push comes from a second-level defender -- was wr ... wr ... wr ... wrong. Yes, he actually said the word. Asked why he had the notion that second-level pushing was illegal but pushing at the line was within the rules, Belichick replied, "Because obviously we are wrong. What else is there to say? We’re wrong." Jets fans might want to tape that quote to the refrigerator.

Rex Ryan's decisions to run the ball more and blitz less frequently paid off for the Jets.
Now there's a new wrinkle: I checked the tape of the Patriots-New Orleans Saints game from the previous week, and the Patriots ran the exact same technique on the Saints' 39-yard field goal late in the game. Same technique, same two players, Jones pushing Svitek. There was no penalty flag.

But wait, there's more to this story: The Jets might have been guilty, too. On Stephen Gostkowski's 44-yard field goal at the end of regulation, the Jets' Quinton Coples appears to shove a teammate into the Patriots' formation. It's hard to get a clear view from the TV tape. The coaches' tape, which should be released later Monday, will have a better angle.

i admit the rule is stupid, but apparently its happened a lot this year and during the week refs were showed examples of it and were told to call it in their training. Good timing for us i guess. The way i see it, it was a makeup call for the TD that hill had. that BS call cost us 7 points. game should have never went to OT

You mean the one where Hill pushed off before the catch?

They both were the correct call. Hill did push a little and the Pats pushed too. This was a safety concern. Both were legit calls. Both should have been called.

I'd have to look at it again, but if the penalties are offsetting then that's one thing. It for sure though wasn't a bullshit call that almost screwed the Jets over

a little hand checking. its normal. how many times did gronk throw around our DBs? or gonzales? a push off is only called when you push a guy one way and go another. they were both playing the ball hand checking each other. the DB misjudged it and jumped early and backwards for some reason. it was a BS call

They pulled the same shit last week and got caught this week....they deserved to get it called regardless of where in the game it happened....cheating is cheating and breaking the rule that is clearly in the rulebook because the NFLPA pushed for this rule to be implemented...if the CHEATriots have someone to bitch to it should be the NFLPA....f*** THE CHEATriots...KARMA IS A MOTHA FUCKA!!!!

N.Y. Jets warned refs about Patriots' field-goal tactic

Did Rex Ryan pull one over on Bill Belichick?

Posted ImageOn NFL Network
NFL Replay
will re-air the New York Jets' 30-27 win over theNew England Patriots from Week 7 on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. ET.

NFL Network schedule
NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Monday that Jetscoaches alerted officials to "several things to watch for" when the Patriots were on special teams before Sunday's 30-27 overtime win.

That included Patriots players pushing each other into an offensive formation during field-goal attempts. In other words, exactly the type of push Patriots defensive tackleChris Jones gave a teammate on Nick Folk's first field-goal attempt in overtime on Sunday.

Jones was flagged on the play, and Folk's missed 56-yard attempt was wiped off the books. The Jetswere marched 15 yards deeper into Pats' territory, setting up Folk's 42-yard game-winner four plays later.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick admitted Monday that he misinterpreted the rule and coached his players to make that play. Jets coach Rex Ryan didn't want to focus on the game-changing play during his Monday press conference.

Posted Image"The focus is going to be wherever you guys want it to be," Ryan said, according to Newsday. "But we outplayed New England -- and that's why we won the game."

Ryan -- perhaps surprisingly -- chose not to confirm whether or not he had spoken with officials about the Patriots' illicit special-teams strategy.

"Let's put it this way, we watch every single play of the opponent," Ryan said. "So you know, we're aware of opponent's tendencies."

Ryan often doesn't play coy, but you can read between the lines here. Score one

The way I see it Jets fans would have complained too if the situation would have been reversed.

My problem is that Pats fans act like the if not for the call they would have won for sure. The Jets stopped Brady multiple times during the game including the pats first over time drive. They might have had a shorter field if not for the call but that in no way means they wouldn't have been stopped.

There are a few things I have realized about Mr. Jet over a few topics.

1) He is a racist. By constantly using race as a battling tool.
2) He is an extreme Liberal. If you are on either extreme you are probabaly more wrong than right.
3) He is one of those people who will never admit fault, error or defeat.
4)His life sucks and he takes it out on people who don't share in his views.

He pushed him in the center of the back. I am sure there is more contact than that on most plays but it was seen and called by the refs.
