The Jets need a game-breaker at WR. There are no game-breakers in free agency this year.

Holmes won't be on the team next year. Kerley is a #3. Hill is a worthless bust. Nelson is a league average #3 or #4 at best.

HOW is WR not a big need?

maclin, britt, nicks, are game breakers

Maybe in 2010 or 2011... and that's still using a pretty damn loose interpretation of the term "game breaker."

I'm all for signing Maclin, but he's a #2. They need to draft a play-making WR in the first two rounds.

Maclin was legit before he got injured, and Nicks is a very talented WR. He just so happens to be catching balls from eli manning who has been absolutely terrible this year. Eli Manning is costing Nicks a big pay day, some team will get him at a nice price (as long as he can stay healthy). I don't like britt, the guy just seems like he doesn't care all that much. Don't need those kind of guys on your roster when you are trying to re-tool a team.

Maclin has never topped 1000 yards. Again, I really like him as a #2.

Nicks is having the worst contract year I can ever remember. Instead of trying to earn a payday, he drops passes and doesn't seem to care. He had 4 passes intended for him get picked on Sunday. That's not ALL on the QB. He's not getting open and making catches like he did in the past.

The standards for big-time wide receivers have been shot to shit around here, apparently.
