Chaos Icon : (17 December 2014 - 06:30 PM) @RapSheet: Sources: #Michigan has made another run at Jim Harbaugh after he initially rebuffed the school. U-M has made an offer of 6 years, $48M. Wow.

santana Icon : (18 December 2014 - 03:19 PM) holy shit thrilling match up tonight
2JBallar01 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 04:13 PM) Does it matter who wins tonight? Draft pick wise for the Jets?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 04:16 PM) Probably not. We probably want to draft above the Titans though if that is possible, they are a team that could use a QB. The Jaguars just drafted Blake Bortles, doubt they go first round QB 2 years in a row
santana Icon : (18 December 2014 - 04:29 PM) so titans win is best win
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 05:52 PM) DRAFT WINSTON
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 05:52 PM) FIRE IDZIK
2JBallar01 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 07:05 PM) I'm leaning towards wanting to draft Cooper or oline with the first pick. have a good line and or relceiver core and try and sign Bradford or trade for Cutler to play QB. And have Geno as back up for us.
2JBallar01 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 07:06 PM) Not sure if Winston can be a franchise QB. Even Mariota has question marks.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 08:25 PM) That is why we need to draft Cooper at WR and then later in the draft go and get Petty
santana Icon : (18 December 2014 - 09:44 PM) clipboard jesus lead the way
santana Icon : (18 December 2014 - 09:48 PM) I miss leon
ROBJETS Icon : (18 December 2014 - 11:35 PM) If the Jets would have lost last week since the Jags won the Jets would have the 2 seed right now and not stuck at the 6 seed
ROBJETS Icon : (18 December 2014 - 11:36 PM) Oh well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:21 AM) I think IK shows potential as a pass rusher
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 12:50 PM) If the new HC goes to a 4-3 it will be interesting to see if Couples can play on the end.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:43 PM) he's probably better as a 4-3 DE then a 3-4 LBer anyway
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:43 PM) we'd need another DT though
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:12 PM) Rex to atlanta rumors swirling about
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:35 PM) Who should be my 2 starters at WR for my fantasy. Championship game. It's between AJ Green, Djax, and Mike Evans. I have Hilton too but I think colts will sit him this week
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:36 PM) I'm thinking Djax and Evans. I don't think the match up with green vs Denver
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:37 PM) I have Ingram, Lamar Miller, and Lacy as my RBs and flex
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:41 PM) green and desean pretty much the same risk reward
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:41 PM) lock evans in and play the matchup for the other spot
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:41 PM) also might snow in denver mnf i would keep an eye on that
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:48 PM) Good thinkin! I think I'm going to play djax. I like the match up better
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:09 PM) Atlanta would be a good landing spot for REx. He'll have Matt Ryan there so no need to develop a QB and he'll make the defense better
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 03:54 PM) He's not a good hc. He'll struggle anywhere.
azjetfan Icon : (Today, 06:07 PM) Idk. I bet if he had a good offensive supporting cast with established players he would do fine. He just can't develop players. It may be like the Gruden going to the Bucs but in reverse
azjetfan Icon : (Today, 06:19 PM) The Redskins are In this game, I am rooting for them so we move up a spot in the draft

There are a few things I have realized about Mr. Jet over a few topics.

1) He is a racist. By constantly using race as a battling tool.
2) He is an extreme Liberal. If you are on either extreme you are probabaly more wrong than right.
3) He is one of those people who will never admit fault, error or defeat.
4)His life sucks and he takes it out on people who don't share in his views.

They can still ban it from the stadiums even if it is legal. I had my days with weed in the past but it shouldn't be in any sporting venue even outside.Haven t touched it in years but Im not against it.

Doesn't matter if weed is the greatest love of your life. Unlike alcohol which only affects the person drinking the smoke from weed affects other around the person smoking it.

Anyone that has no respect for others and would smoke weed in a sporting stadium with kids every where is a total piece of sh1t. A concert is one thing because that is pretty much all adults but subjecting others children to it is just wrong. My daughter is an adult now but if she was a child and someone was ignorant enough to smoke weed with my kid right next to them Id 100% be hauled off to jail for assault. I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Whether you smoke weed or not any parent or person that would smoke weed around children is a worthless piece of sh1t.

I could care less if weed is legalized but it does not and never should belong in a sports stadium with kids around. I'm sure it wont be allowed to begin with because of the kids.No way the NFL would allow it.

Who is talking about smoking weed in a stadium? The game is being played in NY anyway. Btw 99% of the NFL and MlB games I've attended I smelled or watched people smoking bud. So do you assault people when they smoke cigarettes outside also because the second hand smoke is 100x's worse.

Man I dont know if you aren't smart or what with that comment? Cigarettes are worse because there is nothing good in them unlike weed which has some good properties but that said if you really knew your weed first off the tar content that goes into your lungs is far worse with weed and the tar content is what clogs the capillaries in your lungs so in so in the aspect of breathing weed is worse. Many people dont know that so no problem there.

The stupid part of your comment is because you can get stoned of second hand smoke unlike cigarettes whre common sense should have come to your mind. Any decent parent would be highly upset if they had to have their young kids subjected to drugs.

If it was just adults around Id deal with the smoke and say nothing. The point I'm making is if young kids are around. So Id tell them once if I had kids around and if they didn't respond I would assault them.

And to Santana it isn't about being some tough mofo as you are implying. I show others respect so I expect the same. Its not about being tough. I won fights and lost a few. I actually enjoyed fighting in competition win or lose. If not for my back being f*cked Id still be doing mma. Not because of expecting to ever go anywhere. I just like the competition of the sport.

Anyway again its not about trying to be tough but respect for others that have young kids. I did 3 on 6 25 years ago with 4 felonies to my record from it and if I violated while I was on parole and probation I would have had to do a full 26 years. The only thing that bothers me about being locked up is the lack of freedom. Otherwise I'm not pressed either way.
If I was going to assault some disrespectful punks...with my past record I would definitely be headed to prison again so I might as well at least try to cripple them.

Alcohol only affects the person drinking? What about people who get hammered and drive a car?

You make a lot of good points here. :trink39:

Another thing that I'd add is it's also bad to subject children to sexually suggestive images on the internet or any other public forum. I mean what if a 10 year old Jets fan came onto this forum to communicate with fellow Jets fans, or read Jets related articles and was exposed to sexual images? That might give them the idea that women are just sex objects to be ogled at and shouldn't be valued by anything other than what her body looks like.

ITA. Not just that. But what about people who get drunk and then want to start fights with people? Or vandalize other people's property? Or go home and beat up on their spouse and children physically and emotionally? Or drunks who spend money on alcohol before paying the family's bills? And for my Libertarian minded friends, what about when drunks get behind the wheel and don't physically hurt somebody, but get stopped by the police, then arrested, and then have to go through the judicial process? That involves tax dollars that have to be spent to go through that process, all because some idiot decided to get drunk and then operate an automobile. So alcohol when not handled properly does effect more than the person drinking it.
