Jets | Looking at Emmanuel Sanders, Miles Austin

The New York Jets are likely to cut WR Santonio Holmes, which would save the team $8.25 million for 2014. The Jets are thought to have interest in using that money on Pittsburgh Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders or Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin if either is cut by his respective club.

Sanders is old news but Austin? I know the Jets wanted him a few years ago but he hasn't done much lately and been injured on top of it.

I agree no on austin. too fragile and always hurt. I'd look at sander, nicks, and maclin. Maybe decker as well. keep holmes at a reduces salary and draft a WR

I am not a Decker fan. I think he may be inflated having played with Manning. Because of stats he will command a bigger payday than what his actual worth is.

I would be interested in decker, but I don't think I'd want him at Mike wallace money. Decker is legit however, with tim tebow throwing him the ball in his second season he caught 8 TD's and had 700 yards or something if my memory is correct. I remember reading somwhere that he was more productive than demaryous Thomas as well in their second seasons. I'm on my phone so don't feel like looking it up but if you have watched the guy consistently, you'd have no doubt that he's a legitimate passing target. Not that you said he wasn't.
