I know the yankees won the division by beating the hated red sox, but we need to beat them tomorrow regardless because they win tomorrow and they're in the playoffs. I don't want that. Beat them. Don't let them defend the title. This is the perfect end to teh season celebrating at Feway park. Especially after the rubbed it in our face with thier opening day ring ceremony.

Beat the Red sox....Again

Can someone please tell me how the Yankees are the division champions if there's one game left and the Red Sox are one game out? I don't understand it at all.

The Tie-Breaker is a one game playoff. This sounds like total bullshit to me.

The one game playoff ios for identical head to head records vs each other, Yankees Sox head to head isn't identical

This is a great thing, even though I bet it'd be easier to beat the Sox in the playoffs, them not even making it would be the ultimet revenge

How long were they in first, not long enough for me and my mutha *beep*ing Yankees

Funny thing though, the Phillies are one game out of first with one game left. And in 6 games against the Astros this year, the Phillies lost all 6. So why didn't the Astros clinch the wild card already? It's complete bullshit that if the Red Sox win tomorrow they will be in a tie for first and they wont be able to have a shot at the division. What a screw job that MLB is pulling.

GOOOOOOOOOOOO Yankees

They're shitting bricks. They don't trust Schilling now. They fear him pitching the last game. Funny how he was thier savior last year now they don't trust him. We need to win. Yankees play a lot of regulars. Torre is bulshitting with the media. He doesn't want to face the sox. Me either. I'm hoping Wright show up tomorrow. Embarrased them by not letting them in the playoff. I'm pulling for teh Indians too. The Indians will win tomorrow. I just feel it. Ypu should hear the reporters when they had the live shot of the Yankees pouring champagne in the locker with 50 cent "candy shop" blasting in the locker room. The Boston talk show guys kept saying how they are sick watching the Yankees at Fenway celebrating. Aaron Small was going wild dancing to 50 cent attacking everybody with Champagne. He went after Randy Johnson hysterical.gif . Big E. Small baby.hysterical.gif

LOL...

Well lets see. you can keep complaing all you want, because either way the Yankees are the division winners yet again, while your Mets are out watching it. Life sucks for you, doesn't it?

Yo!

The reason we won the east is the head to head, we're up 10-8 over them and will be no worse than 10-9. The only reason we would've needed a 1 game playoff w/ them is if only 1 of us could've made the playoffs. But since boston still has a shot at the card thats not necessary. Guys, Honestly, don't sweat this boston team. Do any of u honestly fear that pitching staff? Until they can prove they can beat Randy there's no need in the world to fear them. I want to play them gaain this yr, If we get to the Series w/out going thru boston it wouldn't feel the same. It's a necessary step after what happened last yr. Now we're all 0-0 again, the sprint to 11. Whoever gets to 11 wins 1st is wearing bling, lol.

Adios!

I don't know how the hell everyone was blind today, and as a Yankee fan, I must say this: Aren't we a game ahead of Boston, with 1 game to play? So if they win, we're tied. Ah well, GO YANKEES!

Not to be concided in what i know, but here is a snippet from what I said n MAY 4th, 3 days before we were 9 games outta fuirst, 9 games!!!!!

QUOTE (My godly prediction)
I'm thinking about starting a new thread later, whos better don M. or willie, Piazza or Jorge, Carlos of Hedeki, I do agree with Bobzero, ever1 know a majority of what the outcome is gunna be, and I knowwhat some say, but I'll say what I gotta here-

The Mets are better.....right now, at this very exact second in time, they are better, but lets break sum stuff down

-HIMH is very right, Bernie, Kevin, Jason, Stanton, Flash are all too old, I won't give ya Mo, cuz he still gets the job done except vs. one team

But of them all, we can get it done without them, so many people say that the Yankees payroll is so extream, well, I'll agree, it is, but take off all those guys salaries, and then see what impact it'd have on the team......none, if any, Bernies is getting older, and lost sum of his arm, Brown is 0-4 and no good, Giambi, Tino and Philips can handle 1B, sierra at DH, so no need for him, Stanton and flash aren't as big a deal as others

-ok, look at our divison,
I did some research just for you guys, so look at these numbers-
The Orioles are know to choak in "warmer" climates 28-51 in june the last 3 years(9-17 per) .282 winning percentage

The Red Sox are doing good now, too, yes, but without their savior Curt Schilling and the other SP that are injured, idk if they can hold the 3 game lead they have on us

Toronto-they, too, aren't good in the July time summer

But...the Yankees on the other hand are like18-7 in May/June time the last few years

But I know this is about Yankees Mets, and I said before the Mets are better than the Yankees right now, but to same the Yankees won't do anything this season only 25 Damn games into the season...........Well..thats just stupid

I say, the Yanks will catch the Sox and Jays within the next 3 weeks, and when(not if) the O's fall in the summer we'll catch them, and you can quote me on this right this second:

The New York Yankees will lead the divsion by the middle of July.....

and heres what I'll say:
AL East-
Yankees- 95-68
Baltimore Orioles- 91-72
Toronto Blue Jays- 89-74
Boston Red Sox- 87-76
Devil Rays-73-90

I also think the the Mets will end up about 90-73, whicjh is a diff. rcord for the better than I originally said, but I too, think they will be 3rd in their div.

A team loses 5 games in a row, and the Yankees won their first 2, how come no one came out then and posted who they think is better??????? Thats what I wanna know

when a team goes on a winning streak and a losing streak, u don't need to keep doing this stuff to see whos better.

And I'm not trying to pin nothin on you Jetof, cuz every1 does it, I just don't think everytime a team goes on a hot or cold streak, we shgould do this, well, I mean the site is for you to accually do this, and its no place for me to say not to, but it sorta gets me mad when I have to defend the Yankees 1 month into the season

What if: over the next 2 weeks, the Yankees go 13-5, and the Mets go 5-13, can we start saying why the Yankees are better this year than the Mets??..??.?.?. Noyt really

Ask me in July, I'll tell u, they are now, Julys when it counts, I'd rather the Yankees go ona winning Moth in July-Sept, then in April-June!!!

And, bobzero, why would you apologize for a long post, mine was just long, cuz your backin up your point, your not goin-

"Mets....dems iz da bomb"

and thats it, but please respond, let me know what you want toungue.gif

I SAID THE YANKEES WOULD GO 95-68, THEY GOT 95 WINS RIGHT NOW< WHO WAS RIGHT< I WAS!!!!!!!!!

I know what I'm talking about, I'm clelbrating now, I'll do predictions later

Yankees lose, CLe Wins- Yankees and Red Sox both make it, Yankees have better head to head, they get the divison

Yankees Win, Cle Wins-Yankees have a better record than Sox, sox and Cle ties, play eachother 1 game playoff

Yankees lose, Cle loses- Yankees and red sox tie, but sox have better record than Cle, so we both get in, Yankees better head to head, win division

Yankees Win, Cle loses, Bos finishes one game ahead of cle for wild card, everything remains the same
