Patterson signed a one-year, $3 million deal, according to league sour
ce.

That is pretty much what Cromartie got, Patterson can't stay healthy. Hes a solid player when out there but he played like 6 games last season.

That table is from a post on GGN comparing Patterson and Cro's contracts. What it comes down is the game-day bonuses. If Patterson doesn't play, he won't get paid. Everything I've read about him makes it look like he is a solid corner if healthy. If he can stay on the field, hopefully be performs better than last year's Cro.

Dolphin fans speak highly of Patterson, that he was pretty much as good as Grimes when on the field, except he was never on the field and ended up having groin surgery. If he can stay healthy, he would probably be better than Cromartie from last year.

I am predicting that we will start the season strong but when all these injury guys get hurt we will tail spin out of control. Probably around week 8. This will cause Rex his job.
