Sources tell Joe Buscaglia of WGR 550 in Buffalo that the Bills will put veteran wide receiver Stevie Johnson on the trading block if they draft a wide receiver early.

It is no secret that first-year head coach Doug Marrone and the rest of the Bills coaching staff had a rocky releationship with Johnson in 2013 and Johnson himself admitted that hed did not work out enough last offseason and was not in top-flight shape. Buffalo already paid Johnson a $1.75 million March roster bonus, but could get out of his $3.65 million salary by moving on. Johnson could probably attract a fifth- or sixth-round draft pick or could throw in Johnson as an extra in a trade up Thursday night. The Bills have been heavily connected to Sammy Watkins, Odell Beckham, and North Carolina TE Eric Ebron

a 5th or 6th round pick? we have 12 draft picks and he would start alongside decker for us. he's a solid WR and still young. that puts kerly as the 3rd WR and hill + draft pick for 4 and 5.

28 year old WR who gave Revis fits? I would give a 4th or less for him all day.

Seriously can't see Buffalo trading him within the division though.

Probably true. However if they are willing to take a 5-6 and we offer a 4th they may bite.

You should change the topic title to traded to 49`rs.

They are even going to be nastier this year with Johnson on their roster.

What makes you guys think that the Bills would have traded him to a team within the same division for the same value? Would you have done the trade for a 3rd that could become a 2nd? He was injured last year and is entering the year three of a five year deal giving him $36M.
