My son 11 yrs old, who is now playing his 4th year of Football, My daughter 16 is starting Varsity Field Hockey as Goalie!
So With a new sense of optimism of Fall Sports, Can I start to get excited about the 2014 NFL season for the NY Jets? Or is it false hope?
Would like to take the day off one year, Go into NYC with my kids to watch the Parade in the "Canyon of Heroes"!

With only two wildcards 70% is stretching it a great deal. Unless you are under the delusion that the Jets are taking the division. The Broncos and Chiefs will probably both make it again so that leaves one wild card spot. Do you honestly believe that the Jets are going to be better than all other 11 teams contending for one spot after going .500?
I dont know about you and their are question marks about other teams too but 70% is pushing it big time. We have to many questions marks on are own team. The quarterbacks, the linemen, the receivers, the defensive backs. Logically Id put us more at likely 30-40% chance of making the post season. Unless the conference is a total cluster f*ck the Jets will need a 10-6 or 11-5 record to make it.
Chargers made it in last year with a 9-7 record. Dolphins, Ravens, and Steelers were all 8-8. Titans 7-9. All these teams will probably be better than last year along with the Texans being a question mark with Foster coming back.
