Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:29 PM) http://news.yahoo.com/top-10-heisman-trophy-candidates-2012-heading-season-150300441--ncaaf.html
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:31 PM) http://newyork.sbnation.com/2012/8/17/3249284/heisman-trophy-watchlist-2012-las-vegas-betting-odds-line-matt-barkley-montee-ball-denard-robinson
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game

He wont last all season this is why.
1) college he plays less games and less snaps
2) he split carries.

i don’t think he is gonna last if u run him 30+ times a game. No rookie RB could survive 350+ carries. 30 a game is 480 carries. That’s flat out crazy. No RB period could last that. remember what happened to Jamaal lewis and Stephen davis when they did?

Exactly Gruden is going to end hurting this him in the long run but it's not Chucky's fault I would run the hell out of Caddy to if I never had anything else either. biggrin.gif

OMG  guys have one superior running back now your whole team in good.  hysterical.gif . Oh man your so blind your probably a fairwaether fan to.

O.K if the Bucs are so good where in the hell were they the last couple of years while the jets are maikng their playoff runs. They were at home with their families.  Don't let ine season go to your head. We are the fist real defense you guys have played this season. So let's stop the hoopla. What stratagy do you have besides "Oh Pittman is gonna run all over you". WHERE in the hell was he last year Or the year before. Man stop running your mouth please.

Alright bro. If you want to have a discussion about the past, we can talk about locker room distractions, Salary Cap problems, and injuries. But if you want to talk about right now, this week, we have the number one defense, new offensive weapons, an upgraded Oline, MUCH upgraded TE's, a healthy attitude, a motivating coach, and 4 wins.

On the other hand you have: a third string QB competing with a color blind 42 year old. A rushing attack that just can't seem to get rolling, and a 1-3 team.

I agree Vilma is an asset to your team, but he can't win by himself.

I love how you call yourselves "the only real defense" we have played. But when you lose, it'll revert back to "You guys beat a 1-3 team".

I am talking about both of them. Becht is a great blocking TE, much upgraded over Dilger. With a little bit more experience, I think Alex will blossom into a Antonio Gates/Gonzo type of basketball TE. I'm not saying he is there yet, but he definately has talent.

TE's you got anthony Becht from us and is a run blocker and who blames a season on locker room distractions. hysterical.gif . How much of a locker room distraction did they have with Philly and Owen's and they still win games. I can't beilieve you called out "LOCKER ROOM DISTRACTIONS" hysterical.gif

And this is why A win will feel much better. You guys are gonna lose to OLD MEN.
Curtis, Vinny and our Oline. I few years ago Martin started off like this then came back late in the season to rush for over 1,600 yards so don't ever count out the running game.

Everything is good when you win and sometimes it's not the best thing to constently win WHY???. Becasue the things you do wrong go over looked and you could very well 1 and 3 also. But you guys fought for your lives against bottom feeders in the leauge like Lions and Packers and thats when you had Caddy in for most of those games. Now you don't you the same team from last year becasue Caddy is nursing his injuries.

Wake up man

Bucs 17, Jets 6.

Sorry guys, the Bucs have a decent offense and an above average defense and, most importantly, they are playing well and winning games. I have to call them like I see them and I can't see us getting the win against.

Oh, and I picked the Bucs to go 10-6 and finish second in the division, so no ESPN, I don't think teh Bucs are the biggest surprise team in the league.

Bucs-27
jet-blues-9

For the record, I hope Caddy does not play. We need him for serious road conditions.

Griese will have another 300+ yrd game and Galloway and Clayton will both surpass 100 yrds.
Pittman might get close to 100 but it's not like we will need it.

The most important part is when the Brooks has the ball. The Bucs like fresh meat and after this game, Herm and the jet fans will be cursing the Bucs for our nfl BLITZ style of play this weekend.

I hope you guy's/gals can tune into the Miami/Bills game so you can see what a real afc east team(Miami) looks like.

Why is everyone overlooking the fact that the Bucs beat 4 teams with a combined record of 3-12? And they barely beat bad Green Bay and Detroit teams.

I guess talking about the ease of the schedule only applies to the Jets.

That is some good, reasoned commentary. Way to bring the facts. Pittman was so good they drafted a new RB and gave him the starting job right away, right? Or was it because Pittman can't stay out of trouble and fumbles too much?

Clayton was a product of the team's struggles last year and is a bust this year. Galloway is better and has better chemistry with Griese. Galloway may have 100 yards because he is a game breaker, but Clayton will be lucky to get 3-4 receptions for more than 50 yards. Pittman won't get more than 70 yards and a few receiving yards.

And that line about Miami I will hope is just an insult and you don't really think Miami is a good team. You should just be happy they wasted a pick on Brown instead of taking the guy who started ahead of him like a smart team would have done.
