This is what it comes down to, we won yesterday, momrentum..yes.
rested...no

It'll be Mike Mussina vs Bartolo Calon, same matchup as Game 1, where the Yankees won 4-2, and Mike Mussina had no ERs

The Angles and Yankees both had to take the plane ride back to Cali, so if "tired" as they say, it'll work for both, but the Yankees have the hitting advantage as that they have more power hitters and Mussina and Bartolo both stayed in Cali to be well rested, so they'll both be fine

Either win and play in the ALCS tomarrow, or lose and watch it tomarrow

DEAD!!! blowup.gif

all A-rod's fault. He suck in the post season. He talked about being in NY for the post season and having a chance to win. He bombed last year and bombed again this year in the playoffs. He hit all those HRs in the regular season. When we needed him the most, he's nowhere to be found. No hits. No RBIs. NOTHING.

Well he has his last shot coming up this inning, hopefully he does what he says he was going to do RIGHT NOW, because there may not be a next time until next season.

Well lets just put it this way. Our general manager WAS Ed Wade, the most incompetent GM in pro sports. I cant expect more than a .500 record with him running the FO. My expectations were met this year and we're on the right track with guys like Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Howard, Bobby Abreu, Chase Utley and with Pat Burrell back on track we should be dangerous next year depending on whether or not the new GM is smart enough to trade Thome for some pitching and maybe signing Burnett.
