For sure, way to support your team, you band wagon fan, sicne you are so afraid of the Phillies comments, you have to state "dont mention the phillies", see ya know your team sucks so badly.

They went 88-74, if that sucks then I'm glad my team sucks and I hope they continue to suck like that into the near future when the new GM will hopefully make our team suck a little more to sucky 90 win season en route to the playoffs.

You expect your so called team to win 90 games in that division? The first place team, the Braves bearly won 90 games in that division. You had all 5 teams as contenders in the NL east, so there is no way you can win 90 games in your division, especially when the Atlanta Braves are in it. So forget it, your team sucks.

EDIT: now everyone sees why I hate this guy (jetsofive), and do not want him on this site.

Boo hoo. You hate me I don't care, I'm laughing at this because you seem to be really frustrated now. And yeah the Braves barely won 90 games and the Phillies won 88 games with Jon Lieber as their ace. Jon Lieber. I'll say it again. Jon *beep*in Lieber. You don't think that with a better pitcher and a new more competent GM they cant win 2 more games?

Yankee fans: Chill out, I'm just busting your chops. Have a good one guys and take it easy drinks.gif

26 Forever...The Yankees lose.
Thuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhh

YANKEES LOSE!

And don't bother with the "where were the phillies?"  As long as the Yankees lose, I'm happy.

27 World Championships?  26 FOREVER!

When has the Phillies won 26 WS titles? It won't be 26 forever. Hah, the Phillies didn't even go to the payoffs.

You're right, they finished a game out of the playoffs with shit pitchers, their biggest star MIA for the better part of the season and an incompetent GM who has no idea how to make a midseason trade to make his team better. I have hopes for the Phils in the future. We'll see what next year brings with our new general manager.

What the yankees need is some bullpen. The guys I got my eye on are BJ ryan, Scott eyre and Bob howry. We can get all of these guys and can all spet up MO. We also need OF help defensive wise. I would go after jacque jones or try to trade for Tori hunter. BJ Ryan said he would be a set up man IF he goes too a winning team, sadly I think boston will make him the closer when they go after him. Btw this is where ryan said he will be a set up man if he goes on a winning team.

Thats like saying I don't care if the Jets suck, as long as the Patriots don't win the Super Bowl, get your priorities straight.

So you didn't make the playoff with shit pitchers, well guess what, we made the playoffs with shit pitchers, pitching in a lot of games, we had the likes of Carl Pavano, Kevin Brown, Al Leiter, and Jaret Wright all starting for us at one time during the season. We man so many changes with our rotation from the beginning to the end, and the changes, well they worked. We ended with Randy Johnson, Mike Mussina, Shawn Chacon, Chien-Ming Wang, and Aaron Small. Now those last 3 that I mentioned, not one person on this message board though any of those 3 would be on the rotation in October.
