Does anyone else besides me have a problem with the amount of goals being scored? It's getting ridiculous. I watched the Flyers/Hurricanes game the other night and both teams together totaled 14 goals. Way too much scoring for my liking.

I was a fan of when it was difficult to score. I remember 2 years ago the Flyers were playing the Lightning in game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals and they couldn't buy a goal down the stretch run of the 4th (they did however score when Primeau kicked the puck through the crease then wrapped around the net and poked it in). Now if I go to the bathroom for like a minute the score seems to be different every time. Very rarely do the Flyers score less than 5 goals a game. Yeah it's great to see my players rack up the points but this is hockey, its about 2-1 games, 1-0 games, 3-2 games. NOT 8-6 games and scoring 5, 6 and 7 goals night after night.

I watched the Rangers-Islanders game last Thursday and it was my 2nd NHL game. I thought it was much better than the game I watched before the strike - more goals, shots and more freeflowing play although there seem to be more penalties. The goals add to the excitement and the shootouts seem fun. I would like to see more hits though this year as there didn't seem to be many in the Rangers game.
