Posted 29 Jan 2015If they can fix Willis Mcgahee`s knee injury in the Fiesta Bowl( if you haven't seen it you should Google it and watch the video of it. His knee got bent like 90 degrees backwards) and Adrian Peterson`s knee I'm quite sure they can repair a torn achilles. Either Milliner has what it takes or never did.
Dr. Rob. Tearing a tendon, especially the achilles tendon is much more severe than any or all ligiments in a knee. There is no injury in sports more crippling than a achilles tendon complete tear. Just look at Brandon Jennings last week. Milliner "could" potentially play at a servicable level but will NEVER be greater than 80% of what he once was.

Posted 2 Jan 2015Am I missing something or did Marone's team outscore the all mighty Jets 138-67 in their last 4 games. Dude is from the Bronx and obviously wants to be here. Say want you want but Buffalo's squad was just as shitty as ours and Marone did a lot more with that roster than our recent coaching staff did with ours. My gut feeling says Marone is the guy. I think it makes more sense to hire a GM first and let him have some input on a head coach hiring but if we wait that long anyone worth a damn might be gone already.
Besides who care's if told his players by text. I'm sure half of the squad already left Buffalo for a warmer climate first chance they could and werent around anyway for a proper "farewell". Marone-- "hey guys I want you all to come to the team facilty (even though your all in Mexico on the beach) and stop what your doing so I can tell you all I'm quitting"
Posted 28 Dec 2014I'm Not sure I agree after re-reading your post.Hiring a guy that did everything before the salary cap and is pretty much shit almost every year after the cap. There is a reason he was working for NFL Network and not a gm on a team since 2006. I dont get this hire at all.Plenty of failed coaches, executives, players etc. working for sporting networks.Talking sports and sporting news is a big difference from running a team.
Way to get worked up over nothing. Your acting like woody hired casserley to be our GM so the tannenbaum comparison is irrelevant. He's simply being hired to give advice about what direction we should go. Once the hire is made he will be out of the picture. Also, you criticize casserly about his reign with the texans. Since when has an expansion team ever came out and dominated 4 years after being assembled (Jags got lucky hitting with Brunnell). Casserly missed with David Carr but there is not one GM in the league who needed a QB that year that would not have taken Carr.
Posted 17 Dec 2014I can remember like yesterday kiper calling Sheldon Richardson a terrible pick. "Good player but makes no sense for the scheme Rex Ryan runs"
