Posts I've Made
Posted 7 Jan 2016Despite taking a step in the right direction it's tough for me to get excited about finishing 7th in the AFC. The online, LB, Secondary, and QB are aging very quickly. Until the Jets address the QB position with a young QB that pans out, they will be hovering right around here in mediocrity. Overall, I expected a lot more from the defense this season. Some games they looked like the 85 bears and at other times they couldn't force a punt for an entire game...with that said it was a pleasant surprise having Fitz and Marshall lead the way, they were certainly fun to watch at times.
Posted 27 Dec 2015Bilal Powell has saved the jets season. Marshall and Decker have been brilliant all year. Fitz Solid as usual. Great game. I'm pumped up.
Shoutout to Bullock also for hitting some key kicks.
Posted 27 Dec 2015I didn't answer your question because of certain sick past comments and the way you utilized the word "hate" in your question. That is also why I said your perception is off.
I wasn't going to bring it up but since you seem to persist do you remember a certain idiotic comment you made like 3 years back about Id be happy if a certain athlete hanging from a noose tree just because I complained a lot about the way they played and wanted them off the field and team?
I dont respond well to distasteful comments because they are either made without thinking, stupidity, immaturity, or a sick mind.
Hating a person is someone you want harmed really bad ,like permanent crippling damage to someone, or tortured, or dead.
So wtf reason would I have to hate Geno, Sanchez,Devin Smith or the oline? They never did anything to me personally for me to hate them. And even if you used dislike instead what reason would I have to dislike them?
I wanted Thompkins back on the active roster and Devin Smith on the practice squad but I didn't want an injury be the reason Thompkins got back on the active roster over Smith.
I wanted the coaches to notice that Thompkins was much more of a asset on the active roster than Smith. There isn't supposed to be special treatment to a rookie that is doing pretty much nothing but screwing up. it doesn't happen all the time but sometimes high draft picks are cut from a team before the season starts because they are terrible in training camp and the preseason. Smith got special treatment over a more reliable athlete.
Only a sick minded person wants someone hurt for no reason if it doesn't affect them personally. And even if you go with the word "dislike" instead. What reason would I have to hate Smith, the oline, Brick, Sanchez or Geno? They've never done anything for me to hate or dislike them.
If I feel that an athlete isn't pulling their weight as a starter or even deserving of being on the field or even in the NFL at all I voice what I have to say because of abilities being shown or not shown. Nothing more. Plenty of first picks in the draft that were stars in college have been complete busts in the NFL.
I dont believe you even know the true feeling of hate. Only someone that enjoys hurting or killing others or those victimized in someway peronally or someone very close to someone that has been victimized.
If you really understood the true and haunting feeling of hating someone to the point of it affecting your thoughts for your entire life and thinking seriously hateful thoughts you wouldn't make such distasteful like you do.
I'm done with discussing this with you. if you want to talk real football then its all good. Surely you have more things to talk about sports than meaningless questions?
First off no I don't remember because I never have said anything like that. Secondly, chill the F out. I was half joking and wasn't meant to be taken so literal. Christ. Anyway lets go Jets!
Posted 25 Dec 2015Lol. You have major issue with perception.
Not even going to bother acknowledging a statement like that. You tend to make statements like that quite a bit. Wont list them and throw you under the buss but you must not be seeing whats happening on the field or have such a blind love for every Jets player on the roster and such a huge fan that all you see is the good and not the bad players or plays.
"hate?" Im a stat and numbers guy and know what I see on the field.
Its a fact that Smith has been what his NFL scouting reports have stated and its a fact that Thompkins catches almost every ball thrown his wall because he runs really good routes. Its a fact that Thompkins has caught far more passes than Smith in maybe a 10 of the plays on the field and 1/4th of the games on the field. If you cant see that you are a Jets fan with blinders on and cant distinguish bad players on the team from the good players. And if you used common sense instead of making dumb statements you would realize its the coaches who make the active rosters. If anyone is to blame for the bust wr Smith being on the field instead of the reliable Thompkins its been the coaches.
Hate to break it to you but all rosters have players on the team that aren't good.
As far as the oline......its common knowledge oline players regress over time. They suffer more knee injuries by position than any other. They get hit the most too. Running backs would be next. Brick has been around a long time. Few offensive lineman are on top of their game and have a long career. And olinemen are generally the least athletic players on the team. No football player ever as a kid wants to be an offensive lineman. Any of them would choose to be on the dline rushing the passer and tackling if they had a choice. Its hard to find good olinemen. Almost no olinemen ever get any recognition or glory. Good dlinemen get a lot.The best friend an olinemen can have is a qb that releases the ball in 3 seconds or less on almost every play.
Not sure why you see feel the need to get defensive. . It's a simple question (which by the way you didn't answer). You post on here like you have a major chip on your shoulder. Relax, bud. I actually agree smith sucks and the Oline is average, your the one with perception issues.
Posted 25 Dec 2015That would be a terrible Idea. Rich Cimini needs to get off whatever he is smoking. Murray`s numbers in 2013 and 2014 in Dallas was strictly they product of a tremendous oline(which we do not have) and nothing more. I watch most of the games every week on Ticket and he was very unimpressive in 2011 and 2012 in most games not to mention 2 tds and 4 tds. Basically much of his career in Dallas he would look good one week and look terrible the next.
Also who watched the Sunday night game saw him sitting on the sideline most of the game in favor of Mathews who hasn't been known as a great rb himself.
Ivory is better than Murray. The Jets dont have a good oline. The only reason Fitz dows so well is because he is a quick release qb. But he has still been plastered a lot and Im amazed he isnt on IR because of it.
Murray`s 2015 game log speaks for itself some of the yards in the games and yards per carry are terrible. If he was a true 1st string rb they would look better.
Murray 2015 Game log
Who do you hate more? The Jets o-line or Devin Smith?
