Posted 7 Oct 2014Your point is well noted but when the Jets possibly have the worst combination of corners (as a whole) in the league and they face 6 of the best qb`s in the league the first 7 weeks and can pass the ball on the Jets while holding and eating a sandwich in the other hand its pretty hard to just keep running the ball all game.
And by the way the Jets are running the ball. The Jets are ranked 3rd in the league in rushing after 5 weeks which is the lowest they have been ranked in rushing this year.
Good Point, but imagine, 10-15 more rushes in the last 2 weeks....Maybe Geno doesnt get killed on the 1st play of the game.
Yes, our secondary is certainly our weekest link!
Posted 7 Oct 2014I have not been able to watch all the games this season, but there is a huge issue that I have with the Jets.
This issue, I think is a problem that we have had and for some reason, no matter who the f***ing OC is, cant figure it out. Why do we go out and pick up Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory and not use them? Geno is in his second year and is really struggleing. We have attemtped at least 160 passes and 145 rushes (not accurate, 28 are Geno Smith or Vick runs). What talented OC in the NFL does not go back to the run more? I would love to see maybe 4-5 straight runs to start a game off, then maybe a deep pass or something simple to help Geno get in the groove?! But hell, thats why I am posting on a board, not a NFL coach, lol.
I will say, staying up to 2 AM to watch the Jets get embarrased is going to be something I wont do anymore...lol
Posted 31 Jul 2014Sad part is, that the people that sent him in harms way couldnt provide the proper facilities for this young man! He deserves better, along with the millions of other veterans out there.
My hat is off to Woody though!
Posted 10 Jan 2014I kind of liked this guy. When he wasnt suspended and wasnt injured, I thought he showed signs of life....
Posted 13 Dec 2013Lets see if we can even win 2 games in a row first!!! LOL... Then continue winning....Thats the only way to even think we might have a slim shot.....Im not betting my paycheck on it..
