Posts I've Made
Posted 26 Dec 2014I didn't read or hear the actual conversation. Im just going off what I read on twitter. I guess Geno was asked 3 questions and the first 2 were about the Jets and the 3rd was about WV.
Well Id like to see the actually link of the conversation then because the way the original post in the thread is worded it clearly is states Rex Ryan....
Last I heard there isn't a guy named Rex Ryan coach WVU. so either you are confused or someone is playing word games and altering the conversation. Also another key part of the conversation is the " but we are professionals" statement right with the "Good for us all Statement."
You dont hear college players mentioning professional sports and meaning changes of coaches in college.Just seems like to many commonalities in his statement to say Geno is talking about anything else but the NFL and the Jets.
So unless someone is playing games and completely altered what was said Id say if the statement is completely worded right its 100% obvious he is talking about the NFL and Rex.
If the statement is correct and Geno made a second statement later on with another statement saying he meant WVU then he is completely full of sh!t and is just trying to weasel out of what he said in the first place because he got a lot of flack from what he said and then tried to make a terrible unbelievable lie to try to back out of what he said the first time. If his first statement is fully correct then there is no way in hell that he was talking about anything else but Rex and the Jets no matter what he might have said later.
We need a link or two of the actual conversation to see what was really said instead of assuming and guessing.
Posted 23 Dec 2014That statement was about his college team West Virginia. Not toward the jets
@jetswhispers: Geno's quote about change maybe being good was about the West Virginia coaching change when he was in college. The question was about WVU.
Posted 10 Dec 2014and honestly i watch other games and i see it done all the time and it drives me crazy
1) back shoulder throw
2) comeback route
3) throw deep down the sideline 1 on 1
4) fade pattern
5) 5 wide
Jets don't know how to play offense in general. Only thing they are good at is going 3 and out
Posted 10 Dec 2014Keep their drafted players
Posted 13 Nov 2014Winston is NFL ready right now. But he acts like a child still. He is for sure a huge risk with off the field trouble if he doesnt grow up and mature. New York could be a scary place for him if he doesnt change. But if you are speaking of on the field play, hes the best without a doubt.
Mariota is for sure a football player. He can do it all. Hes fun to watch and is a winner. BUT he isnt NFL ready because of the offense he runs. He will need a few years to sit and learn a pro style offense. Just like Geno should have sat for a few years. He wasnt ready either.
If I needed a QB to draft and start from day 1 between the 2 of them, I would take the risk and pick Winston.Hes the best QB and personally is worth taking a chance on. Especially with the new rookie deals.
