Posts I've Made
Posted 14 Sep 2014I was at work so only got to watch the tracker but I have to question how a QB can close out a game 3-15 or whatever Geno did.
Posted 9 Sep 2014The craziest thing is that anyone is surprised that the video is awful. A dude dragging a unconscious woman out of an elevator and dropping her like he could care less and people thought it might really have been a fight she started? This was always going to be a POS acting like a POS.
The bigger story now is that no one outside of a celebrity website that could have looked into it more, did. The NFL, that let's it's member organisations ask players if their moms are prostitutes, won't ask to view a tape like this? The police didn't? Or didn't care?
Rice is a POS, but Goodell was either negligent in his duties or is some shade of just-as-bad. He has always passed out penalties that were weighted to his or the NFL's bias, and now they are trying to smooth over what everyone knew was a joke of a suspension to begin with.
Posted 6 Sep 2014I'm looking through a website that tracks player salaries and the Jets have one of the lowest QB cap hits in the league in terms of active rosters. Vick and Smith combined are only five million. 25 teams have a single QB making that much and a lot of multiple QBs that are making way more combined.
When you look at CB, the teams top three CBs only make what the top fifteen paid CBs in the league make.
And for receivers, the Jets barely have any to make any money.
Those are three of the highest paid positions and the Jets are pretty light on them, thanks to having dumped expensive players at all three positions in the past year-ish.
For the record, the Seahawks top two QBs make two-million combined and their CBs only have Sherman making more than a million. Receiver is the only position one of those positions they have any money heavily invested in, and that is Harvin.
Posted 6 Sep 2014115 always has to have a mancrush on a Jets receiver. Like a lovesick guy that doesn't get over his old girl until he meets a new one. He moaned about Coles until he met Holmes. Hill replaced Holmes. He'll be over Hill by the end of the season, after the draft at worst.
Posted 6 Sep 2014If you get hurt at a job and have to get medical attention, a lot of times they'll take blood samples because if you test positive you're going to get fired and they aren't going to pay for your health care since there is the possibility of impairment.
The NFL is a workplace.
