Former coach says he can play beyond 9 years but have had a concussion? This is the nfl, more concussions are upon you as a slot receiver. Can we trust him in this west coast? -

We need to tear down and rise from the ashes, not to toil in mediocrity for the next 5 years. We need a franchise QB, and you get one of those by sucking, just ask the Colts. Do we wanna be the Bucs (or replace the word "Bucs" with "Chargers", "Vikings", "Bears", or "Cowboys") for the next 5 years? A team considered "always on the fringe" led by a slightly above average QB who will probably never lead them to the Ship? Can't we just have a bright future for once? We need to shoot for another franchise quarterback, not a 2nd round Ryan Nassib or Tyler Wilson to manage games for the next half decade. I want I guy that can WIN games, and I'll exchange one horrendously shitty season for a shot at a decade of 10 win seasons.
To answer 2 of your questions, we did have a bright future Ryan/Sanchez first year with TJ, Green, Leon Wash and Revis. At the time it was bright with Rex calling the def. and having the best running combo in the league to compliment Sanchez that season. We did have a guy that can WIN games, he just can't throw, but he wins nontheless. He had to play more downs to do that.
