Birthplace: Brooklyn NY
Location: South FloridaBIO: Born in Brooklyn NY in 1963. My earliest Jets memories weren’t too good. Most of it was a blur except for watching Broadway Joe take intentional sacks to save his mutilated knees. Not a good start and only a handful of good memories since then, but somehow, 39 years later I’m still here. I started NYJetsFan in 2001 as a hobby and have loved every minute of it since. We have a great bunch of members here and I wouldn’t trade them for any other site’s members. I also host Jet Fuel Radio - The only Live Jets Fan Talk Radio Station on the Net. On the personal side, I’ve been happily married for over 15 years and have 3 great sons. My real job (The one where I pay the bills from), is as a Detective in Palm Beach County, Florida. I moved down to Florida in 2003 to get away from the winter and give my kids a chance to play sports all year long. My other love besides running this site is coaching youth football and teaching kids how to play the game. If there was one job in the world for me, that would be running the NY Jets and putting an end to the suffering we as Jets fans all feel - all too often.

I was raised in a Jets household as my father was and still is a big Jets fan. As was my mother but not quite as big as the two of us knuckleheads. I was born in Virginia but raised in Manhattan. The Jets and football in general are my passion. I played many years… Football runs in my bloodline. My Uncle was well on his way to making a name for himself until he suffered a tragic car accident, as for his brother (my other uncle) played football in Canada and Europe but never quite made it to the big time, although he had a good career and is working with computers and making a decent living. My cousin Tony was born in Canada, he just graduated from high school. He has received a partial scholarship to play WR for the University of McMaster, at 6′6 214 and runs a 4.6 40 with butter soft hands, look for his name in the next few years. So football and more importantly the Jets run in the blood. I’ve bled green and white since the womb and there is no turning back now. I wear the emotional scars of my Jets on my sleeve as I hope and pray that one day they will finally climb that mountain to achieve the ultimate goal of winning a super bowl.

Angel Navedo has been an avid football fan since his pre-teen years, following the Jets religiously ever since their dismal 1-15 season. Remaining loyal through all of the ups and downs, Angel goes into every season thinking positively. Remarks about re-building fall on deaf ears. Every year it’s Super Bowl or bust, and when it ends up being bust, he still tries to find the diamond through the coal. Readers should expect to find fresh ideas that are thought-provoking and conversation-worthy presented before them regularly, supported with rational thought no matter how extreme, or seemingly timid.

Born in Bklyn in 1964. Ironically, I wasn’t raised in a Jet environment,my father is a Giant fan. I guess I rebelled. One of my earliest memories was of John Riggens becoming the 1st Jet to eclips the 1,000 yard mark in 74. I attended Joe Namath football camp in 76, and was in awe of Broadway Joe and his work ethic and incredible personality. Caught a few passes from Broadway Joe, and that experience was the one that injected the green that runs through my bloodstream.I guess I didn’t give my son a chance at becoming a fan of another club. We have been attending training camp at Hofstra every year since he was 4, and are looking forward to this years final camp at the facility.Being a fan of the Jets for 30+ years, has had alot more downs then ups, but the past is the past. I’m looking to the future, which begins April 26th on draft day. NYJetsFan is a great forum to be a part of, and I have my son to thank for turning me on to THIS site. The FO is building a team that I beleive we all as Jet fans can be proud of, no more “same old Jets”!
